Nyango Star is an Apple Cat that hails from Kuroishi City — a farming community in Japan’s northern prefecture of Aomori. He came into being when the spirt of a dead cat inhabited an Apple. He does not remember much of his life as a cat but he does remember his former owner playing the drums.

He took up the drums himself and has become famous throughout Japan for his ability to shred on the drums. He's currently the drummer in the band Charamel featuring Funassyi, Akkuma and Kapal. Nyango Star is popular all over the world due to his drumming skills.
