Kumamon is a bear that hails from Kumamoto one of Japan’s southern prefectures. He was orignally Created to celebrate the opening of the Kyushu Shinkansen. He works hard as the Happiness Manager for Kumamoto to spread the news across Japan of delicious food and pristine nature in Kumanoto.

Kumamon has his own variety show and has recently become a YouTuber. Kumamon is very popular all over the world!
